This is our seventeenth list of high quality entertaining Hindi movies of all times. You will notice that only really high quality and very entertaining films and at times, topically relevant movies find place in these lists. Do look at the earlier lists also; you might come across some good movies which you might not have seen earlier or wish to see them again. In this new list, after lots of research, we decided to include the following movie:

• Kanoon (Mystery, Crime, Drama, 1960) (Its B R Chopra's film all the way- a classic mystery drama. Despite no songs in the film, quite unusual for typical Hindi films, it was immensely appreciated and watched by the audience. The movie won two Filmfare awards)

Now we present to you the fifth list of high quality entertaining Hindi movies of all times. Many of these films are inspired by Hollywood films. Since they are well made despite their being approximate copies of Hollywood films, they have been included in this list.

Do look at the earlier lists also; you might come across some good movies which you might not have seen earlier. Here is the new list:

• Ghajini (Action, Thriller, Mystery, Drama, Romance, 2008) (Ghajini and the original namesake film in Tamil, both these films were based on the American film 'Memento'. Ghajini won three Filmfare awards)
• Lagaan(Drama, Sport, Romance, Musical, 2001) (Winner of eight Filmfare awards. Was nominated for Oscar. Lagaan is inspired by Sly Stallone movie 'Victory')
• Chak De India! (Sport, Family, Drama, 2007) (Winner of four Filmfare awards- it was a good attempt at making films based on sports; Bollywood does not make many films on sports)
• Race (Crime, Thriller, Drama, 2008) (A slick flick. Based on Hollywood film 'Goodbye Lover')
• Kashmir Ki Kali (Musical, Romance, Comedy, 1964) (Chosen in this list because of its sheer musical treat)
